Steve Ababio (Ghana)

Steve's early foundations came from working in public relations, graphic design, marketing, broadcasting and web development. This was his preparation for a career in writing. Writing with light. He enjoys writing with a pen, but found himself attracted more to photography by its immediacy.

Steve started his professional photography life 20 years ago shooting weddings, but since then with time and experience his focus gradually sharpened into a concentration on corporate work: commercial, NGO, advertising and corporate social responsibility projects.

Now his main passion is to present Africa through photography and film as the fantastically creative, versatile, adventuresome and beguiling continent that it is.

Steve currently runs the Destination Africa Project and serves as President of the Association of Professional Photographers, Ghana.
